Description:

Fiber Optic Splice Closure, is an essential passive component for fiber optic cable management in fiber optic network of backbone, LAN and access network. Fiber Optic Splice Closure is widely used to protect optical fiber splices, store slack fiber optic cables, distribute fiber optic cables, etc. in straight through and branching applications either in the outside plant or indoor buildings. FOSC can be installed in aerial, pole mounting, wall mounting, direct buried and duct mounting.

Generally, there are two types to face different situations: Dome (Vertical) Type and Horizontaltype.  Dome type is more suitable for the application on accessing layer.The input and output ports are at the bottom of the closure. Horizontal type is more suitable for backbone application.The input and output are on the both sides.
